With the "Beijing Daxing International Airport," the second major airport is being built in China's capital. Scheduled completion and the start of test operations are planned for 2019, after only five years of construction. The new airport in the Daxing district is intended to further open up the airspace and relieve the heavily burdened "Beijing Capital International Airport." If everything goes according to plan, around 45 million travellers per year will reach their destination at the start of the airport's operation. In the long term, handling over 100 million passengers annually is planned.
Challenges of the construction project lie in the high complexity of the structure and ground conditions as well as in the earthquake-prone area. The fischer installation systems and fischer FZA undercut anchors proved to be suitable anchoring solutions in a multi-stage selection process. Therefore, the systems are used throughout the reinforced concrete frame structure with a building area of approximately 600,000 m² to secure fire protection ducts, fire extinguishing pipes, and ventilation ducts.

The fischer FUS rail system forms the basis for bearing the loads of numerous pipelines, ventilation, and cable ducts. The modular rail system features connecting and construction elements, which, in combination with the rails, allow the construction of complex, highly load-bearing, and easy-to-install structures that can safely bear the loads.
