Peace, exclusivity, and a feel-good atmosphere amidst nature are promised by the "Symphony Residential Complex" in Varna. Just a few minutes' walk from the city centre, the beach, and the "Sea Garden" park, the property is located in a popular residential area with panoramic sea views. Great importance is placed on living comfort and quality in the floor plans, the spacious rooms with 2.70 m ceiling height, the sunlight exposure, and the building materials. The main building, constructed from 2018 to 2021, will house 180 apartments over an area of 40,000 m² and a height of 46 m. On the ground floor, there will also be grocery stores and a café.

"More than 40 different products from our company are used in the project in various cross-trade applications," says Christian Greicha, Managing Director of the Austrian subsidiary of the fischer Group. "Decisive for the contract were the high quality of our products and services, which are tailored to the building type, and of course also the trust in the partnership." Angel Bratanov, Regional Sales Manager East Bulgaria at fischer Austria, adds: "We already supported our customers during the planning and technical execution with drawings, calculations, and pull-out tests. Accordingly, we continue to support our clients until the successful completion of the project."
System and fastening solutions for a wide range of applications

To construct the load-bearing structure from concrete C30/C37, UltraCut FBS II concrete screws and FIS SB 585 S injection mortar with system components for temporary and permanent fastening tasks were used. As the calling card of the high-rise building, the already completed modern building envelope made of glass as well as ceramic and aluminium composite cladding ensures a representative appearance. The substructure system for the ceramic panels of the ventilated curtain wall (VHF) is anchored with SXRL long-shaft anchors and UltraCut FBS II concrete screws in the fastening base made of concrete and Poroton bricks. Behind the facade cladding and the ventilation zone, DHM insulation holders together with FTM 80 insulation discs also secure the insulation boards. The drill holes in concrete and perforated bricks were created using the Quattric II hammer drill. UltraCut FBS II concrete screws also fix the wall brackets for the support profiles of the glass facade. Further fischer heavy-duty fastenings made of steel and chemical anchors secure the sun protection and air conditioning units on the facade. 
Electrical installations and technical building equipment (TGA) are also among the application areas of fischer products. The FLS and SXRL long-shaft anchor rail systems secure the supporting structures for laying cables and electrical wiring. In addition, there are TGA applications with fischer installation and fastening systems. The FLS and FUS rail systems fix the media lines. Mounting rails and ALK cantilever brackets are the corresponding basic elements, which are installed together with system components such as FRS and FGRS pipe clamps as well as threaded rods.

fischer FireStop solutions are used for sealing the penetration openings of MEP applications (mechanical, electrical, and sanitary works) and construction joints. The installed products include the firestop FiAM. When this one-component, water-based acrylic emulsion is exposed to fire, it forms a highly insulating barrier. As a result, the product ensures room containment for up to five hours. The additionally used one-component mass FiGM, made from a graphite-based material that foams under high pressure, expands up to 20 times its own volume through intumescence when exposed to fire. It then hardens into an elastic, flexible fire seal. Additionally, the elastomer fire protection coating FFB-ES and pistol foam are used to seal the construction joints.
