Surrounded by green spaces as well as urban art, culture, and leisure offerings, the new condominium Dalvey Haus in Singapore was developed from 2018 to 2023. The nature- and city-close home houses 17 condominiums on 55,480 square feet (more than 5,154 square meters) and is located in a privileged area. District 10 is highly sought after by both locals and tourists due to its wide range of amenities. The district is home to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, popular restaurants and shopping paradises, renowned international schools and hotels, as well as the prestigious healthcare center Novena Medical Hub. The developer of Dalvey Haus is Dalvey Breeze Development, a joint venture company founded by construction and real estate experts KOP Properties Private Ltd (Singapore) and Low Keng Huat Ltd (Singapore). The responsible architectural firm is eco.id (Singapore).
Cosentino Dekton facade panels on the building envelope of the Dalvey House emphasize the elegant and timeless exterior appearance of the residential complex. The fischer BWM substructure support system Bracket Solution light (BSL) securely and concealedly fastens the Dekton panels over a total area of 2,200 m².

The modernly designed residential complex with its cubic buildings, large windows, flat roofs, and streamlined exterior landscaping blends subtly into the surroundings while also serving as a true eye-catcher. The building envelope is clad with Dekton facade panels from the natural stone and quartz surface manufacturer Cosentino. The chosen color tone Danae, according to the manufacturer, "reflects various beige shades on the surface like sand moving in the desert." Considering the climate in Singapore with high humidity and frequent rain, the durable and robust material plays to its advantages. Dekton consists of 20 natural minerals bonded together using Sinter Particle Technology (TSP). This process replicates metamorphic processes, where natural stones are exposed to high pressure and temperatures for several millennia, in a very short time. As a result, the UV- and color-resistant as well as fire- and frost-resistant cladding material enables long-lasting and representative facades.

The fischer BWM substructure support system Bracket Solution light (BSL) secures the Dekton panels over a total of 2,200 m². "Our system serves for concealed yet secure fastening, thereby contributing to a harmonious and elegant exterior appearance. The advantages of the high-quality and easy-to-process premium material Dekton are thus skillfully showcased," says Cedric Cui, Technical Engineer at fischer Singapore. "Our façade system can be planned and installed with great flexibility. This allowed all architectural requirements to be met in the Dalvey House project." 
 
For the execution, the façade builders from the façade construction company SKH mounted the horizontal profiles HP-BSL on the supporting structure. Hook clamps BSL, geometrically matched to these profiles, enabled the quick and easy fastening of the Dekton panels. The connection between the clamps and the façade panels was made via the undercut anchors FZP II 11 x 8 M6 /T/10 D40 PA. "Because the fischer BWM façade system is very easy to understand as well as simple and quick to install, both the training time and the execution on site were shortened in the Dalvey House project," reports Cedric Cui.
As a result, the loads acting on the horizontal profile HP-BSL via the BSL clamps (self-weight of the facade and wind) are transferred horizontally and passed on to the associated vertical profiles, from where they are transferred to the load-bearing structure. Fixed and sliding points installed during assembly also enable secure fixation while allowing thermal expansion of the system.  “Our substructure solution BSL demonstrated its advantages in the facade execution of the Dalvey House, including the closed profile for guaranteed high loads, the optimized geometry for significant material savings, and the high-quality concealed fastening of the facade panels,” explains Johnny Goh, Managing Director of fischer Singapore. “The European Technical Assessment (ETA) for Dekton panels with our undercut anchor system provided planners and contractors with additional security.”  With its extensive range of services, the fastening expert supported the construction project. “Together with our colleagues from the local subsidiary, we supported our clients in all phases of the facade execution of the Dalvey House – from planning and calculation of all substructure system components and anchors, through on-site support at the construction site, to successful project completion,” summarizes Ralf Weber, International Market Manager at fischer BWM Facade Systems.
